Foxton Beach!
Foxton Beach Trip
On Tuesday 17th March, the entire Junior Syndicate went to Foxton Beach. We had such an awesome day (windy weather aside). We used our College Street Kid attributes by striving for excellence, learning with others, using the habits of mind and heart, thinking and of course being happy and healthy!Thank you so much to the parent helpers and staff that made our day possible and so special!

Swimming Art
To make our fabulous art we used stamping to make the 'bubbles' in our pool background. Next we used dye to stain a piece of paper that had been crumpled up and then added rock salt to give a water effect. We then used shapes that we know to draw our bodies swimming in the water. It was tricky to get them in proportion but we persisted! Take a look at part of the process below.... or better yet come in and see them all for yourself in our classroom!
